Back to
School - When it is time for children to attend
school, Goodness and Mercy is there to provide them with all
grade appropriate school supplies and back packs to start
and finish their year.
Teaching the children they can do anything they
desire by praying and studying.
The Prom incentive is one way Goodness and Mercy
encourages the teens to obtain good grades.
All seniors who maintain a “B” Average and above
through the school year will have their Prom paid for by
Goodness and Mercy.
Christmas
- Providing gifts to the homeless is our
symbol of hope that someone cares; therefore, last but not
the least of what we do is to provide as many women and
children we can with the blessings of presents on Christmas.
Our "Afghan Project" adds an extra special touch on
Christmas for the women who receive them. Afghans are
made with special specifications by people like you who want
to make a difference in the life of a women in need.
Afghans are made by you then mailed or delivered to a member
of Goodness and Mercy. Then we present your afghan
beautifully wrapped on Christmas morning.
Entering the homeless shelter on Christmas morning
and seeing the faces of families whose hopes have been
shattered, then restored by people who care, help to
keep Goodness and Mercy serving on behalf of God’s
Goodness and Mercy.
